SABERTOOTH UNICORN:
Many Moons Ago on the fifth day of the seventh month of the year two thousand and twenty we found ourselves five months into a global pandemic! We had just started getting good as a full band after almost four years as a two piece. We hated not being able to play shows and see each other. So we decided to break the government suggestion of staying in doors and rock a backyard show in our friend Jeepa's backyard! Nobody got covid for months so we were lucky! We just found this video! Enjoy! We've changes a lot since then. It's fun to look back! You can watch the whole thing here! youtu.be/J6KiydnrDCg?si=g-EoUhMstyqmFEta
THROWN-OUT BONES:
With seven cross-country tours under their belt, it’s no wonder every song and performance by SF-based trio Thrown-Out Bones invokes a spirit of adventure. Lead singer/drummer powerhouse Liliana Urbain fronts the band with explosive and infectious joy, supported by her middle school bestie Nick Chang on gritty blues rock guitar and fellow high school band nerd Sam Miller on psychedelic and jam-centric bass. After 15+ years of playing together, the group has honed a unique, multi-genre musical language that slides from jazz to funk to rock topped with contemplative improvisation and soaring three-part harmonies. The lyrics themselves traverse surreal whirlwinds of fantasy, insanity, passion, and chaos rooted in a driving search for the truth of being human.
MOXIE BARKER:
Moxie Barker has collected a group of wayward cirkies from across the land, now centralized in ambrosial Northern California. Each member of the Moxie Barker collective brings with them a beautiful depravity that is channeled through their musical prowess; their individual stories an offering to the whole. Moxie Barker will bring you tears with no cause, laughter with no ending.
It's melody will soothe and smother, its carnal rhythms will overtake you and leave you questioning which side of the stage you belong. You will never feel such jubilance while bringing about the utter disappointment from your elders.
