Hattie Craven has built a fine reputation as a breathtaking performer going back to her early years. It began as a 4 year old fiddler on stage with Laura Love at the Kate Wolf Music Festival. Musical theater from age 6 to her teens, created confidence and a dynamic stage presence that serves her well today. In addition to the stage, Craven is also at home in recording studios as a seasoned and sought after session vocalist since age 11. As a singer-songwriter, she has 3 CD's to her credit. Her touring career began at a young age with her father, Joe Craven. Together they have entertained audiences ranging from river boat cruises in Europe, to concert halls and music festivals across the U.S. Hattie is a multidimensional artist whose fan base transcends age and genre. Some of her projects include, but are not limited to; Hattie & The Moon Howlers, with Jessica Malone, Hattie Craven Band, Joe Craven & The Sometimers, Craven & Hodge & Hattie Craven & Alex Jordan Duo. Hattie continues to actively push the envelope in Soul/Folk/Americana music. Catch her on tour in a city near you.
Alex is a singer and multi-instrumentalist who has been surrounded by music his whole life. The son of a high school music teacher, Alex started singing at a young age, dabbled with brass instruments (playing primarily Jazz trombone), harmonica, ukulele, bass and piano before eventually discovering the electric guitar at age 17. Songwriting and playing with a few bands throughout high school and college, he kept up his guitar practice while studying classical voice and music education at The Bob Cole Conservatory, California State University, Long Beach before joining the road crew for Cubensis - The Grateful Dead Music Experience upon graduating in 2012. Alex regularly subbed in with the band on rhythm guitar and vocals throughout 2013 before moving back to San Francisco. From 2014 to the end of 2019, Alex was a member of Midnight North, adding the piano and Hammond B3 to his arsenal, playing with Bob Weir, Phil Lesh, Peter Rowan, and many others. In the fall of 2017, he began working on his debut solo record "The Subtle Exhibitionist" which was released in May of 2020. Alex spent much of 2020 and 2021 off the road due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, taking the time to write, record, and perform many live streamed concerts. In the spring of 2022, he traveled to Austin, TX to record his second full-length album under the guidance of Steve Berlin. You can find Alex on stage around California with the Alex Jordan Band or sitting in with his many musical friends.
