Wild Wild Life ~ Talking Heads Tribute
Wild Wild Life – A Talking Heads Tribute was formed in Placerville and born out of the Main Street Collective. While the Collective did many Tribute projects, the Talking Heads stuck as one of the most fun and entertaining acts to hit the Green Room Stage. After multiple sold out shows in Placerville, Wild Wild Life took their show to the California State Fair, the Miner’s Foundry in Nevada City, and beyond. The group is now re-energized and scheduling shows in the NorCal area. Wild Wild Life is: Aron Faria; Guitar, Haley Woodward; Vocals, Brett Neumann; Bass, Jason Bramlette; Vocals and Percussion, James Ganz; Vocals and Synth/Rhythm Guitar; Dustin Koupal, Keyboard; Mae Flores, Vocals, and Jerry Barton; Drums.
Officer Dick
Officer Dick plays the high energy songs from the soundtrack of the popular video game, “Tony Hawk Pro Skater (1-4).” While the game itself is a popular and fun pastime, the soundtrack took on a life of its own as an iconic celebration of skateboarding music culture, influenced by Tony Hawk himself. Tony has been known to join popular bands on stage to play the tunes of the soundtrack with his own brand of live-band karaoke. The unlockable character of Officer Dick, which is based on comedian Jack Black hilariously skateboarding, get’s the honorary nod in the naming of this band. All joking aside, Officer Dick takes playing these songs as seriously as a skateboarder approaching the Hollywood High 16 stair for a switch front board.
Officer Dick is:
