GRSC and FNS Productions Present the first All Ages Queer Community Social. All ages and everyone welcome for an early social between 5 and 8pm. Karaoke with Karaoke Jockey Becca or bring cards or board games to play and connect. Find familiar faces or make new friends in a safe space and fun environment. A safe space offering the freedom to express your unique self and mix and mingle with other Queer friends and folks. Kitchen will be open and our crafty and Queer bartenders will be serving up draft, wine, mocktails, cocktails, and hot or cold espresso bevvies or tea to your liking. GRSC is an all ages venue with a wide variety of non alcoholic options in addition to a full bar.
What is "Queer"? According to the Human Rights Campaign org, Queer is a 'term people often use to express a spectrum of identities and orientations that are counter to the mainstream. Queer is often used as a catch-all to include many people, including those who do not identify as exclusively straight and/or folks who have non-binary or gender-expansive identities. This term was previously used as a slur, but has been reclaimed by many parts of the LGBTQ+ movement."
The Green Room Social Club prides itself in offering all types of programming and production throughout the monthly calendar. Our focus is building community and providing high quality live music and events. GRSC does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, disability, or age in its programs and activities and we are working to be officially designated as a Certified Safe Space in 2025.
