Cedric Williams was born in San Francisco, CA in 1981.
He was recognized an artist at the age of six. He was introduced to acrylic paint at the age of nine when his teacher inspired him about the beauty of painting. Cedric Williams got recognized from the Mayors office. He was nominated 1st place in an art competition displaying "deep sea creatures" in 1990.
He also got nominated for presenting a mask-like portrait he took 1st place in using colored pencils. His work was sent Down Town City Hall for recognition in 1992.
Cedric began painting using acrylic again at the age of sixteen through twenty-one. Cedric used oil Paint for the first time when he was twenty-two. Once he started working as an Environmental Health & Safety Technician he took a break from painting. Finally in 2018, Cedric picked up his brushes again to continue his journey as a self-taught artist. His loving wife encouraged him to pursue his passion in becoming a great artist he desires to be. Still while gainfully employed at UCSF he manages to make time to paint most weekends and seek out beautiful areas to fulfill compositions he desires to add to his portfolio. He'd venture throughout the Bay Area of Northern California to paint landscapes, cityscapes, and seascapes. He does mostly Plein Air Oil Paintings, encouraging friends and local inspiring artists to embrace the artistic gift they have.
