Adam Poe is a blues rock musician based in Sacramento. Originally trained on piano and as an opera singer, Adam picked up the bass guitar in high school and it forever changed his musical direction. Adam spent several years touring as a bassist in bands that ranged from a Guatemalan punk group, a stint backing Dwight Yoakam guitarist Pete Anderson, and a project with Macy Gray drummer Herb Graham Jr. Adam eventually transitioned to the guitar in 2009 and began writing his own music. His latest album, La Vie Tranquille (The Quiet Life) was released in early 2021 and is available on all streaming platforms and at
adampoe.bandcamp.com. It is a combination of genres ranging from blues, rock, pop, folk, country and electronic. Adam is the sole member and plays all instruments on the record.
